Just went to Dick's Sporting Goods and ordered an ankle/wrist wrap that has a clip on it for the cable weight machine in the gym. It will be so much easier than what I use now. I have some sever arthritis in my wrist so I can't use my hands to move the weight. I can wrap my wrists and put the weight on them. The stress is on the arm then and not just the wrist carpels. I have not been able to use any machines where one has to use their hands to move the weight. I devised a wrap out of a pair of jeans leg and shoe strings. I then have been putting the handle of the cable machine on that wrap that goes around my wrist and moving the weights. I can't wait to just be able to remove the handles and clip the cable to my wrist wrap and then it would be safer and I can actually begin to build some chest and arms to hold my sweetie. Did some lifting today with my makeshift wraps. It will be a week or so before my store bought wraps come. I'll let you know how they work out.

I didn't lose like I had hoped but I read that the Weight Watchers program I'm on is designed to force folks to lose slower. That's why I'm coupling a weight lifting program with it. I am sore but I feel firmer in places that used to jiggle ALOT. I think that is why I'm not losing in numbers the way I'd like to see. I need this WW program because on any other I'm always hungry or snack-ee. Especially when I exercise. This time I have plenty of food to eat. My wife lost 3 pounds this week too. I am so happy for her. Today is weigh-in day and my day off from lifting. I'll get downstairs tomorrow (after church hopefully)

Had the wife measure me this morning. I know that inches are melting, melting, melting away...what a world, what a world... I am not losing weight. I am eating right and exercising my butt off. I need to see some progress. My princess is losing every week at Weight Watchers. So I handed her the tape measure and stripped so she could put numbers to every roll just about. I want to see the bad numbers shrink (fat, sag, rolls, spare tire flab) and I want to see the good numbers grow. muscles, rippliness and the love muscle be visible again. I may be able to get into the swimming pool today for some water aerobics. The season for outdoor swimming is quickly ending. I don't have any idea if there will be another day.

I am killing myself in the gym. I have been down there nearly everyday this week. I ache and see the muscles under the fat from time to time. When I begin to lose my spare tire that usually goes all the way around my middle, it begins to have flatter spots on the side. I see that now. I just wish I lost some weight. I know muscle weighs more than fat and I keep telling myself that. I am walking better and straighter with less pain. I am seeing my chest sag less. I hate man-boobs especially saggy man-boobs. A man's chest is supposed to be hard and no sag. My beautiful wife tells me mine do not sag but I have trouble believing her. Now I see my boobs standing up better. I see other things too. Thighs a more bit more apart instead of that constant grinding together. And (

) I see a little more of my penis! Yeah!!!!!! Every 20 lbs of gross overweight lost gives one more inch back to me to share with my lovely! I haven't lost any pounds but... Yeah!!!!
