I have to be serious this time. I am not getting any younger. I am retired so I have no "I have no time" excuse. I live at a complex that has a pool, a hot tub, a workout room, a clubhouse - I have no excuse. Now I am face to face with the enemy- me and my own flesh! How I love to sit around and baby myself. I love to do nothing or simply watch skinny people on television while I get bigger and bigger. Laziness is sin. I can be a man that is really 56 years old or I can be a 75 yr old in a 56 year old body. I prefer the former to the latter. The reason I called my self
No Body
in the first place was because when I looked at myself naked in the mirror, I had
no body
to offer to my wife, to make her excited and want me. I know that she loves me - but to look sexy for her- now that would be sweet! I am praying more this time so I am expecting results.

Just started using this Journal again. I have retired since I last participated in this site. I have rejoined Weight Watchers. The new system is great. Being able to eat all the fruit and veggies I want and then having so many points of food, well it is fabulous.

When I finally retire in just a few weeks more I am planning to go down to the free gym. I get on the bike and then the cable exerciser. The other machines need to be used. I plan on getting into shape by my consistancy.

My wife suffered the loss of her stepdad and that was a hard to time to pay attention and count points and add and all the things that you do when you are paying attention to such things. I'm afraid that I have not done this enough this time to make habits that I could just shift into automatic and do. I really have no idea what I ate this week. Now that it is past we can both get back to the basics of eating right. I am going to go workout this morning. I have a gym downstairs for the people who live in this complex. It is equipped quite well with basic machines and tv's that I can turn the stations if I want.
