Hi

I'm 31 at the moment. I live in a southwest suburb of Chicago, IL. I was small as a child but when puberty hit, things definitely changed. The lifestyle we lived promoted horrible eating habits and zero exercise. Every female in my immediate family has struggled with their weight for as long as I can remember. During certain points in my life, whether depression, feelings of helplessness, trapped by circumstance, or complacency, I tend to put the pounds on very steadily. During a 6-yr relationship, I gained 60 lbs. After breaking that off, I began my journey for a healthy lifestyle. My highest weight was 205. I dropped 60 lbs. in less than a year. The lbs. were MELTING off of me and it felt SOOO GOOOD! I didn't struggle with food choices or exercising. My lowest (even before I gained weight)weight was 138. Man I felt GREAT! I was single and able to make MYSELF THE NUMBER ONE priority. I maintained a weight of about 145 - 155 for 2 years. Then on June 2nd 2009, I broke my foot in a car accident. I didn't completely crash at this point. I ate pretty healthy but stopped working out so my body still changed and actually dropped the muscle weight. I tried biking while I still had to wear an air cast (space boot) which was great. But I was definitely out of routine. THEN, the best and worst thing that could happen to my body happened. I started dating someone. YEP... that will do it EVERY time!! Somewhere along the way, I lost the will to keep it up... I need to figure out how to incorporate him into my life without losing focus.

I want to be HEALTHY and I WILL do it!
