So welcome to day 2 for me. My calories still aren’t where I want them, and my carbs are way up, but remember that this is all before the diet. I’m keeping track of my regular day to day habits. Tomorrow my carbs will be way down, but still going to be higher than I want them to be, and that’s okay with me.
So yesterday my wife and two kids, we went and on a short walk around the area. My back hurt by the time we got into the parking lot of our apartment complex, which is not a very far distance at all. By the time we went around the entire complex and back to our apartment, I could hardly stand from the tightness in my back. But it was wonderful.
Today, at work, my back doesn’t hurt from walking to the bathroom and back. Which means there is definitely an improvement from yesterday. I ate a highly protein focused breakfast this morning and I’ll do the same tomorrow.

Celebrating the small accomplishment. I have the same food I had yesterday. Still lacking diet food. I adjusted what I ate and avoided carb the best I could. I do want to add that this isn’t accurate entirely. I cut out portions of what I ate to cut carbs.

Yesterday’s calorie count and percentages. My goal percentages: 5% carbs, 70% fat, 25% protein. As you can see, a normal day in my diet is how I’ve gotten so big. 3800 calories and it was a “good food day”.

Today I’m starting my journey. I’m tracking the normal things I eat before my diet. I started dieting a little bit already, but not well enough. I recently discovered low carb diets. I set myself up for low carb/high fat like the Keto, but I’m just focused on keeping my protein high and my carbs down. So the fat content will probably just come with the territory of eating more protein.
370 pounds one week ago at the doctor office. That is what I’m starting at. My goal is 220. That is my weight when I met my wife and I was in really good shape. Wish me luck everyone, because I need to lose this weight.
