Aunt Flo finally reared her ugly head yesterday, so i used yesterday as my off day from the gym. But i'm back at it tonight!

Today is supposed to be my upper body day, I've got a pretty good upper body routine goin, i think... I picked up a few new moves from a girl i was watching while on the leg press monday, i'm gonna try those out too.

I almost had a binge eating disaster last night. I dont know what it is about Aunt Flo and my need to gorge on anything high in sugar and refined carbs but there is left over birthday cake on my kitchen table... I only had a few bites! Really, like 3 little bites. It was sooooo good, really hit the spot. I could have very easily gone over board tho, i didnt even touch the BlueBell vanilla icecream in the freezer!

Alright, i guess i'll go do that work thing now.. happy humpday to everyone!

And another one bites the dust! I busted the zipper on yet another sports bra! You just cant cage these warlocks! hahaha
Seriously tho, its becoming quite the challenge. I'm now unable to do any form of intense cardio (that includes jogging) until i can get to the store and purchase a high quality sports bra, so i guess my focus will move to weight training.

I'm pretty aggravated with that tho, becuase by the time i am able to start running again, i'll have to start from square one. And it took me a ton of hard work to get to where i was, and starting all over again just does not sound appealing to me... Oh well, maybe i'll rediscover my interest in running some time in the future, but for now its time to set my sights on weight training.

And i happen to be completely clueless on the correct way to weight train, SO... any and all advice is appreciated. :)

And the scale was back up to 136 today. grrrrr

Well the party was a success, and my weekend was a success, foodwise.

I did of course have pizza and cake and icecream on Saturday, but i ate a lot less than i would have in the past, plus i went jogging Saturday morning, AND cleaned the entire house...
Sunday i actually stayed within my RDI, and thats including to glasses of Pinot Grigio.

Kiddo got roller skates for his birthday and of course wanted us to take him skating Sunday. And it turns out my mom still had my roller blades, and some how they still fit (i've had them since i was about 9), so we went and bought hubbs some skates and headed off to the park! It felt so awesome to have an active family outing, we all had so much fun and got tons of excercise. We will definitley do that again :)

The scale finally moved and I finally saw 135! I've got myself in a good focused place and i need to stay here. I've lost a total of 3 lbs so far this year and need to make it 3 lbs a month from here on out. I want to be at 125 by the time hubbs is done with school (early june) so we can start P90X together. :)
