Hi, my name is Pam and I am 41 years old. I am married to a wonderful guy named Woody and I have 3 children (Mike--21, Meagan--14, and Morgan--11) and 1 granddaughter (Kayleigh--almost 1). After having my last child, Morgan, I have really had a hard time getting back to my ideal weight. Then to top it all off, I quit smoking about 10 years ago and the rest was down hill from there...haha! I have continued to gain weight slowly over the years and hit my all time high of 182 pds. about a month ago and finally cried and said, "This is it!" I don't feel good anymore and I get more "winded" now than when I smoked....and that's pretty bad! I have tried losing weight over the years and usually quit after about 2 weeks or just gained it all back. I am DETERMINED this time to go all the way and keep it off!! I just hope I don't give in to temptation and go back to the way I ate before. It's scares me to think about it! I don't want to be like that anymore!
I found this website after I got my new Droid phone and was looking for a weight loss app like I had on my iPhone. I am sooooo glad I found you all!!! I have never tried losing weight like this before (with a community of friends). I feel really good about it this time! I want this to be a whole lifestyle change not just a diet for a couple of weeks!
