I give up. I eat poorly? I gain weight. I eat healthfully? I gain weight. The only thing that's worked so far is just not eating, so I guess I'm going back to that.

Lindie, If you made your diet and menu available, I'll bet folks would try to help you out.Don't give up but choose a diet and log your meals. I know its a pain but it'll be helpful when you run into a stall or things aren't going well. The people on this site are very helpful. Just a thought. Good luck my friend.

Lindieface, please don't give up. I am in the same boat. I gained 2.5 this week and don't have a clue how but got to keep on keepin on. We will get there-day by day!!

If you are not losing and there is no medical reason, then it is something you are doing or not. First you have to be very honest with yourself about your food intake and are you doing what you are supposed to be doing or are you just doing it half way? Are you tracking all your food? Try a week of eating 1500 a day for seven days. Track every morsel. Be active! Get in some walking or some form of activity. See what happens! If you lose than you know that you need to really focus more. Are you getting enough lean protein, dairy, fruits and veggies? Are you eating too many processed foods? Are you getting in enough liquids to stay hydrated and flush out sodium? Focus 100% for one week and see what happens. Studies show we underestimate by at least 30% how much we actually eat. Give it a go and see what happens. You have to focus on getting healthy. One step at a time.
