Today i was a little more in control of my eating. My daughter(9) made pancakes from scratch and they were good! I never turn down the opportunity to let my kids cook even if I do not need what they are cooking. Took Joe(5yo) on a 50 minute bike ride-fun and sweaty(I am starting to sound like a Norman Rockwell Family-Ha!) It was a good day, If i CAN JUST SATY AWAY from the strawberry cake. I

I am totally put out with my lack of consistency. We are going to beach next Saturday. I only worked out last Saturday doing spin and weights. This week is a new one. I feel a cold-going to get in bed early. Thank you Lord for my health and family. My family keeps me so busy and I am glad that I can care for them. I will walk at least 3 times next week and add 2 classes. I love reading the progess everyone is making-thank you for their motivation. I have added a positive thing by drinking at least 2-3 glasses of green tea. I have not been drinking diet coke since before lent and am not going to drink them again. I will drink a real coke or sprite.
My new thoght this year is to add healthy habits even though my weight is CREEPING OFF. I am not able to deny myself too much at this time-can't explain. With everyone's preoccupation with weight and looks just want to be steady and happy. I have 2 girls and 2 boys and they are watching me. My 9 year old said something about her fat stomach and (it is not) I told her that God made you special and you are to play for exercsise and not look at yourself so much. I also told her the importance of eating healthy and saving deserts for special occ-not every night. We did not dwell on the subject. I spent so much energy & time hating my physical self as a teenager and young adult and I wasn;t even that fat back then- I am just now(in the past 5 years have come to terms with my body. I am short and "thick". I always have on a great pair of earings and good lipstick and cute shoes-just go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do want to loose and I will in time.
My oldest graduated this past Monday and it was fun-I cooked and had everyone over afterward-Homemade Stawberry cake, among other delicious things.

my weight is up 164- not burning calories as often, not logging food. I will log from now on. voice recitals,grandparents day honor awards, etc late nights-grouchy kids-the whole works. Life is good!Glad zi can do all this even though itis hectic. Peter tells me at 10pm last night that he has to make a dish for spanish class! we go to store and he makes all before 630 this morning. GO GO GO and smile

SO busy,busy,busy with senior activities and friends over and chasing after other kids! Grandparents day at school and working,etc. WHEW!!
DId yoga on Tuesday-good for my back,etc.

I have been very busy and under the gun with life. I am glad weighed and saw that I was 161.8!!! below 162--I don't feel like I have been very "good" but still keeping away fro diet coke-drinking water doing yoga and eating balbanced meals as best as available. I try to eat boiled eggs when hungry. I have not been able to excercise as much as I would like too-but it is the best I can do right now.
