There is almost nothing as exciting as getting on a plane heading home. I will be home for the next 9 days. It almost feels like Christmas for a 6 year old :-)

Four straight days at home! It’s been a bit since I have been here that long. I think in a row I did Chicago, Orlando, Columbus, Richmond, Buffalo. At least Buffalo was a short trip.
Food is going well, exercise not so much. Getting a bunch of movement at work though.
I am getting closer to making this sustainable on the lifestyle part of it but it is hard on the family. When I say sustainable I mean reservations, packing, laundry, workload, and food. My road diet is simple. I’ll buy a small watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon. A few bags of carrots, celery, cucumbers, kale, blue berries, strawberries. All of that eaten uncooked.

I am going to try and do something that doesn’t come naturally to me, brag a little and give myself credit for the last year. Monday was my one year mark.
I am 5’6” short. I started this at 281lbs. High blood pressure and diabetic of course. Size 44 jeans, 3-4xl shirts. I hardly ever ate anything that was cooked at home. Fast food and restaurants were my life on the road. I had gout and had trouble walking through the airport.
Today. Still 5’6” short :-). 158lbs. Blood pressure and all of my labs are good. Don’t have to check on everything daily. 31” jeans and large shirts. I almost never eat out even though I am on the road all of the time.
