Hello, I wish you strength and perseverence on the battle. Do it lastly for you. Do it first for your heart, your brain, your health and your body. Then it is all about you - do it for you and all things important in your world.

I'm 41. Canadian. Married with four children. 6'2". 258 lbs. I work in a law office. Former athlete. I am vain and want my old body back, hahaha. I am embarrased at how I have let my health go and at how much of a glutton I am (hopefully was). I don't want to be sick, unhealthy or die. I don't like myself in a mirror and want to fix that. I've been all talk for 15 years, now I'm ready for the talk to end. I criticize my children to eat healthy, but I am a hypocrite.

I am motivated by trying to set a good example for my children. I have to do this, but I know I can fail at anytime, like I have in my yo yo diets for the last 15 years. I love food, the sweets, the ice cream, the buffets, the chinese, the sushi, the cold beer, etc....

I am going to fail. I already did last night. But this website at least makes me be accountable. Thank you for letting me be accountable to you. Although you are a stanger, you are my friend and I want us both to succeed. Good luck my friend - I give you a sincere good luck and a friendly push on the shoulder. :)

Jan 27/12 - well decided to be committed to FS and added a picture. I guess that makes me more accountable now, i'm not just a cartoon carrot anymore.
