Ok, I went ahead and weighed, couldn't stand the suspense. Up a pound, but I'm ok with it. I actually sneaked a peek a few days ago and it was way more, like 10 pounds more! I think my body is getting used to the new diet now. Time to start the slow decent on the chart! I realize I will not lose as fast as I did on South Beach but at least the weight doesn't pile back on as quickly either. I'm trying to limit sodium to get rid of extra water, because when you go off a low carb plan,the carbs in your body retain fluid at first, which is why I did not want to weigh. My pants felt tight and I felt super bloated for about 4 days, but the ol' pants are looser today, and I feel good. I didn't exercise much yesterday, but I did do some aerobic dance in the evening, worked up a good sweat, and did a bit of upper body strength training. I'm gettin' some guns on me! I like to tell Brandon to feel my muscles! LOL. Kaelyn gets my resistance band and pretends to exercise, saying"OOOH, oneee...Twooooo..four...SIX! Exercise, mommy!" My own personal trainer, how lucky am I!
I was just thinking, man I need to take a recent picture of myself. I haven't had a picture taken of me since October of last year. That's not good! I am always hiding behind the camera. I am going to get dolled up and have brandon snap a phot of me later tonight maybe..if I remember. If not today, tommorrow for sure.

That's not too bad at all - and you're still more than 10 pounds down on where you started! Keep up the good work - you're setting such a fantastic example for your little girl. Looking forward to seeing your glamorous new photo! :)

Sounds like things are going good. I need to get a good pic of me too. I am always the one with the camera. I keep saying I will post a before and after pic and then another once i hit my final goal, but haven't thought to take the picture. Maybe tommorrow!

here's to hoping you find out which diet will suit your lifestyle the best! That's what I'm in persuit of myself! It'll all work out, right? I'm hoping this time next year we'll all just be standing around the cooler talking about how chubby we USED TO BE! LOL

Been on that low carb diet, oh it didn't work for me either. I believe in eating a diet we can live on for the rest of our days. You can do it.
