Did 45 minutes on the elliptical stepper this morning. Felt good!

Question: any good tricks for holiday parties? How do you avoid over eating and over drinking at parties?

way to go on the elliptical..hows your knee doing...as for the parties..i have no ideas..sorry....

you are doing great...remember that first and foremost at every party...will help with the mental attitude...than, drink a glass of water first...then go to the veggies and that end of the table, for some reason people tend to put all of the healthy items together ...than alternate a glass of water with every mixed drink or wine...you will find that these tips will help you cut back immensley (SP?)...hope this helps

Very nice with the exercise! :) Party musts! 1. Eat a small, sensible meal, as close to phase 1, as possible, with a couple of glasses of water BEFORE you leave the house for the party. 2. Once at party, mingle... grab a water or diet friendly drink (I often bring a premixed drink of choice and sip on it, to avoid over indulging on non diet friendly drinks) and have a glass of water before another drink!! EACH TIME. *This is a must to have a full glass of water after each other beverage.* 3. Find a diet friendly snack, veggies, nuts of whole grains and just have a little bit with a tall glass of water. You can DO IT!! Make your game plan in advance and you'll have a better chance of success! :)
