This is day 6 of my 10 day Green Smoothie Cleanse. So far, I'm doing good, a smoothie for breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus snacks consisting of vegetables, fruit, eggs, and nuts. I don't have any side effects like headaches, nausea like some people claim so I'm lucky in that case. I've got 4 days to go and once I'm done, I will work on maintaining my weight eating healthy and small portions. I will say that I can't wait for Thursday, I've been dreaming about RL's endless shrimp!!!!

That sounds interesting! What do you put in the smoothies?

Today's smoothie consisted of 2 handfuls of spinach, 2 bananas, 1 1/2 cup of peaches, 1 cup of pineapple. The packet of stevia and scoop of protein was optional. I didn't add stevia. It taste very good. I've had snacks of carrots, watermelon, and later on I'll have some celery and cucumbers. Oh and you're suppose to drink at least 64oz of water throughout the day. Sometime I have trouble with the water. Also in the morning she suggest a cup of detox tea. I got the book from Amazon and the author is JJ Smith. I can't believe my husband is doing it with me, absolutely LOVES food. So far I lost 5lbs and he lost 7.2lbs since we started on Monday.

I just looked it up on Amazon. There's a free kindle book of recipes I can get, trying to get it, but there seems to be a problem. Will try again later. But it seems like a good idea. I was thinking I could do them on fasting days sometimes. Glad to hear your husband is doing it too! That's amazing weight loss! You probably will put a bit back on when you stop though, but hopefully not all of it 😀
