I'm stuck it seems.

I got stuck quite a number of times. I see you're pretty much on the same diet I am (low carb low calorie). What got my metabolism back and kicking every time I stalled, was a day of eating berries - strawberries, raspberries or blackberries. Just berries. I had days in which I ate as much as 6 lbs. They are low in carbs and it's a healthy way to "carb splurge" to get your metabolism back on track. You might gain a lb or 2 the next day but then the scale starts moving down fast again. Try it - you got nothing to lose. Except weight! And careful, only those berries. Other berries have high carb content (especially blueberries and elderberries).

Good Idea,, I have heard of this too, I am ready for a splurge on berries I have not had any fruit since april,, I am totally due . I think some berries with heavy cream,, are in my future :-)

Second day in a row i have been with my friend miss stair stepper can't wait to see were this relationship is going. Heaven knows I can use the exercise.

Oh Tamarah Jo, be careful. If you are going to use heavy cream, then don't exceed the recommended carbs daily. The "carb splurge" with berries you eat that all day: berries. Nothing else, or you'll put on quite a few pounds and take longer to get back in ketosis.

really,, all day !! ugh I just was thinking a Berries and cream snack LOL. So I would eat berries all day ?? that's a lot of sugar ?? I really don't care to eat Berries all day,, I need some protein and Fat or I would be starving !!

No, it's not a lot of sugar as long as you get only what I said: strawberries OR raspberries OR blackberries. Do not mix them. Do not eat anything else (coffee and tea are ok). Do NOT put sugar or whipped cream or heavy cream on them. They have a natural sugar that is excellent for your body and what your body normally SHOULD eat - in 30-40k years the human body did not adapt to a different food than what it ate in the neolithic and before, that is why we have so many diseases and obesity right now. You can safely go up to 50-60 net carbs for that "carb splurge" day. Keep in mind: strawberries have 2g net carb per oz (with 0.5 g fiber) you can eat 25-30 oz that day. Raspberries have 1.42 net carbs per oz (with 1.42 g fiber) so you can eat 35-40 oz; blackberries have 1.22 g of net carbs per oz (with 1.5 g of fiber) so you can eat 40-50 oz for that day. It all depends on prices and what you can afford - obviously the blackberries would be the best as they have lower netcarbs and higher fiber. I am lucky that I have an Aldi in the neighborhood so I can do that with blackberries - they usually sell them for $1.20 per 8 oz container, and I get 5 containers. Otherwise, I just get strawberries, they're the cheapest of all. Do NOT get blueberries, they're horribly high in carbs, and so are elderberries.

I even went on watermelon "detox" for my last "carb splurge day", ate half a watermelon (about 3-4 lbs) and it worked fine, took me a day to eliminate all the water from the watermelon, but after that I was fast into ketosis and losing again.
