Another weekend, and all of my hard work during the week is gone! Dang.. I plan to follow my program Monday through Thursday pretty strictly, then let loose a little on the weekends, but still exercise -Hmmmm, seems I better re-think that if I am ever going to lose and keep it off. Back to the grind. :)
This week treadmill every night, eating 1200 calories Monday - Friday. Keep moving!!! I have a birthday party on Saturday, that will be my only day to allow myself a little break.

You are doing a great job with the weight loss so far!!. Please be careful on restricting yourself to 1200 calories. That is really on the verge of a starvation diet!! Kick it up to 1800, its a lot safer for you. I know its hard not seeing the needle go down consistently. Don't give up and don't give in!!! I know I have one hell of a time just making the 1200 calories a day, to keep the starvation mode away. But that is me, and I never really ate a lot to begin with. It was when I ate. I ate at night, when we are most sedentary. I just had my birthday this saturday (17th), so Happy early birthday!! Give yourself permission to just do what you want on that day, then get back to the diet on sunday!!! It really helps to get control!! I'm here if you need me!!! Keep it up and keep it moving!!!

Hi Pdk. I'm around your same weight. I find that trying to stay around 1500 is reasonable for me. I can still splurge here and there and then just make up for it with the other meals. When I stick to the 1500 and try to be active, the weight really does fall off. I do fall off track sometimes, but I at least try to maintain what I've lost, and then when I'm ready, I just jump back on the wagon. I tried 1200 Calories and it doesn't work because its too hard and I starve, so then I just give up and end up eating everything in site!! Good luck, we can do it!!!!! :)

Hey, thanks! Did you see my weight? I think I actually entered 218 instead of 248 yesterday, so it looks like I lost a lot and gained a lot in 2 days. Funny!! I couldn't fix it, but since yesterday I am down - I will change it tomorrow. My doctor told me 1200 is good, but if I add in major exercise like Insanity to bump up my calories, so I will. I don't find I feel too hungry if I use my calories wisely. It really does work for me too, if I make the right choices. I found that I can actually eat a lot of food, plus I am not always perfect - somedays I probably am around 1500 - so I do give myself a little room - don't worry, I will never be guilty of starving myself. EVER! haha We can do it!!
