I'm back down to my goal weight this morning! I will have a good workout today, so I am hoping to actually see 137 soon. I have not been following points at all- not to say I am eating badly, but I really hate the counting. But, I added up what I ate yesterday which was all very healthy and light, and I was still over points. I think I am probably getting in more calories than I need on a regular basis. What irritates me in following points is there is no room for margin. One higher calorie choice blows the points for the day. However this is why it does work when you can actually stay in them. If I can force myself to follow them for a week, I am sure I can have a good loss. It's just making myself do this that is so hard. I can be a rebel sometimes when I don't like the rules! Making myself rise to new heights in fitness and exercise is far more appealing and easy for me than sticking with writing down the points. I know it doesn't have to be that hard as I make it but it just bugs me. I mainly try to stick with slow and conscious eating and eating healthy things, but I know I will do myself a favor for quicker weight loss if I an can be consistent with the counting for a week. Anyway, enough of my whining about that. I am happy to be back to my goal and will work to lose a little more.

Oh, I just realized the mini-sprint triathlon is in one month from today! I am ready! I want to work on my speed now so I can do well on my timed distances. This one is just the smaller event with all the YMCA's competing across the country.

Hope you all have a wonderful day. I am thankful for a healthy body that is able to workout and get me around! I hope you look at your body that way too today and be kind to yourself.

Afternoon update: I ran this morning on the treadmill. 2 miles in 19.5 minutes, then a walk run combo for the rest equaling a total of 3.5 miles/ 40 minutes. I saw 137 on the scale! This afternoon I might play with the kids in the snow or go sledding if I am feeling up to the cold. That will be another workout. It's the warmest day (about 36 degrees) as it's been in a long time!
