Been following the program but can do better, as I eat MORE of the allowed food groups. If it was VEGETABLES, that would be o.k! But, it's ALMONDS! Almonds has taken the place of popcorn! Not good!

LOL, yep, nuts and particularly almonds are my kryptonite! What I did is put them into little baggies in a single portion size. I then gave them to my husband who has them hidden in the garage someplace safe from me, where I cannot get into them myself. He is allowed to give me one baggie of nuts per day. Even if I beg him, no more nuts after I have had one servings. There were a couple times I actually accidently found the stash of nuts (forbidden fruits) and binged on them until I confessed to hubby that I found them. Now he has re-hidden them someplace safe from me again. I know it sounds drastic but it seemed drastic measures were called for. Ilove almonds and want to eat them, they are healthy!! so this was my solution!! Hope it helps you!! Got someone that will hide them from you?! Only put them in portion sizes when you are feeling strong enough to resist eating them while packaging them.
