Gosh where does the time go? I didn't realise how long its been since I did a journal entry!
I am happy not having to go "somewhere" today. Between Wed and Saturday last week I have driven about 575 miles, plus 3 inspections and one college graduation! I feel like Alan Jackson's song "I've been everywhere!", and I never left the state!
Today is all desk work, writing reports on last weeks inspection visits. Tomorrow I have a job interview in downtown Dallas, I know I will get all my walking in tomorrow as there is very little parking around the federal building I am headed to. gotta to remember to wear comfortable shoes.....
And next week I "get" to go to Austin for the week, again lots of walking. Maybe I better see the chiropractor this week!
Tomorrow is the JOB INTERVIEW for the federal job I want! I am already anxious. Can't make up my mind what to wear. I know 5 of 6 people on the interview panel, I need to remember to be serious and not joke around too much.
yesterday we went to Olive Garden for dinner, would you believe after one bite of a bread stick I said NO, they just didn't taste as good as I remember. I even passed on the pasta, of course I didn't order the Chicken Alfredo that would have been toooo much temptation. :)
Guess I will worry about the scales tomorrow. Seems TOM has made an early appearance this month, bummer!

Okay, I am eating 100% Atkins, am in ketosis, drinking plemty of water, getting some exercise in each day but the scales don't seem to budge. I have been at the same weight (+/-) for WEEKS. Don't know what's going on, really should have dropped into the 40's by now, don't want to do any fasting right now as I am getting low blood sugars (<60) almost everyday. Very frustrating!!!

I finally got an hour in at the pool yesterday: 30 min on the underwater treadmill, 30 min swimming. Felt good to get wet. Pool's closed on Sundays :( or I would be there again today.

Despite TOM hanging around all week with all HIS water baggage, I lost 1 lb!!!!

Ok, I have been putting off weighing in because TOM and all his extra water baggage has decided to move in this week. My ankles are back to looking like donut rolls. I will be weighing on Friday but I feel good about this week even though old TOM and his friend CRAMPS has been hanging around. Been trying to get into the BEACH challenge but as I was late with my emails I may have to settle for just being a beachcomber instead of a Bahama Moma.
oh well, snooze, you lose....actually I was out of town without the computer or laptop
I even had my 5 point system worked out:
1 pt for 7 hours sleep
1 pt for 64 oz water
1 pt for 20 carbs or less per day
1 pt for at least 15 min of exercise
1 pt for 30 min or more of exercise
Day 1: 4 points
Day 2: 4 points
Day 3: so far a 4 point day
