Fresh off my Saturday flex day and Sunday detox I'm ready for another week. I watched two of my favorite college football teams get demolished and now UConn loses their coach. Oh well at least they were in a New Years Day Bowl. Div 1A needs a playoff system...Well, at least the UConn Mens team won on Friday, Patriots won yesterday, and the 'Skin made it respectable. It was not a totally blown sports entertainment weekend.

WWWWAAAAAYYYY to many carbs yesterday. I'm not on Atkins, but still. I just put in all the major meals for today. Much better balance. I think what this indicates is that I need to lower my fruit intake to one peice/day.

I gave my wife a dehydrator for Christmas. We did apples, bananas, and a strawberry/lime fruit roll-up on Sunday. I made Jerky last night and it was great. This certainly will help balance those days when I've had too many carbs. It's much less expensive than buying Jack Links or Oberto, and much better quality than the oven technique.
