Mothers Day seven years ago I finally hit rock bottom. Losing a career and 20 years in an abusive relationship finally took their toll. I was drinking heavily from the moment I woke up. I could no longer keep going and was planning to kill myself. My two young children are the only reason I did not follow through with my plan. Instead of suicide on that Mothers Day seven years ago, I drove to the nearest ER for help. I got sober and ended that abusive relationship. Today I am happy and healthy and finally feel worthy of my precious children. It has not always been easy, but I have persevered. Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there. And remember, no matter your current situation, you ARE worthy of love and peace.

Weight loss has slowed to a crawl so I decided to stay off the scales for 2 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised with a 2 pound loss when I weighed this morning. This brings me officially to 90 pounds loss. I will keep on going and will be adding walking back into my routine as my heel heals lol. Three weeks post op last Friday. I wish the best to my fellow FSF. Happy Tuesday.

Had surgery on my foot on Friday Mar 19th. The surgery went well, but I was on my feet too much so got put on bathroom privileges only when I saw the surgeon last Wednesday. The pain is pretty bad, but otherwise the incisions look good. I am NOW following orders and staying off the foot. I can't wait for this to heal so I can begin walking again. I have been very sedentary of late, and that needs to change. My weight loss has stalled, and I don't want to cut anymore calories, so increasing activity is the only way to go. I am considering getting some light weights and starting lifting once I can as well. I have lost 90 pounds and have another 50 to go to get me into a healthier weight range. Will continue 1,500 calories a day with plan to add light weight lifting and some walking once healed.
