I reworked my day 2 exercise routine for last night, and I seem to be retaining less water, and I'm less sore. I read an article somewhere, and I tried using light static stretching as needed between sets, made sure to finish with an interval training "cool down" to the end and did not scrimp on stretching.
End result: I feel great today and could take on the world.
On another note, I really want to add in some nuts to my diet, but I'm trying to watch my sodium levels. Any help finding a store in Delaware County, PA that sells raw nuts (I love raw cashews!) would be extremely appreciated.

Well... I got weighed this morning. I'm not recording it because it was a different time than normal, and I had eaten and everything. Sundays are update days. I did see positive results on another side, though I have gone from 31.3 body fat percent down to 30 percent. In the end, that's my concern. I've got a lot longer to go. I was prepared for weight swings, but 255 to 260? Up Five pounds in three days. It's invalid, and I'll leave it at that. Hopefully it's just temporary. I'll redouble my efforts at the gym tonight and see if I can't make up for it.

Last night was our first Gym date. It went really well, but I think Kelli got tired of waiting for me to finish my routine. I took a little longer last night because I needed to get familiarized with the exercises. I've been having problems hitting my RDI, but today I'm going to work on that after a recalc. I packed little portions today so that I could eat through the day instead of eating three big meals. So far as the exercise, I changed out my old weight routine for a multi-joint based routine, based on the premise that you get a better workout when you move more weight more distance (e.g. Clean and Press (9 feet) vs. Squat (4 feet). I'm still skeptical. Come Sunday, we'll see the results. I do have one observation: I hurt today like usual after lifting, but in a different way. It's not as bad of a burn, but it's across the board. Nearly every muscle has something going on.

So for some reason, when I got weighed yesterday, I was 255lb, not 264, and at 34% body fat, measured by electrical impedance method. I will have to recalculate everything now. On the positive side, I'm 10 pounds lighter than the scale originally told me. That's a good thing. We joined Planet Fitness last week, and tonight's going to be my belle's and my fist night going to the gym together. I've been so busy with work, I haven't even got a plan together for me yet. Wish me luck!

Based on Mike Geary's The Truth About Abs, I'm heading off in a new direction. Atkins was great, but I'm seeing greener pastures ahead.
