I lost a pound! I shouldn't have gotten weighed yesterday, but I did anyhow. What was more exciting was that my body fat percentage went down to 28%. I hope and pray that I've turned the corner in my new way of life where I stop hanging on to that nasty fat for good. I don't allow High Fructose Corn Syrup, or artificial sweeteners in the house. If something needs to be sweet, it gets raw honey. If you ever need a reason to not let HFCS in your house look here : http://www.princeton.edu/main/news/archive/S26/91/22K07/ Princeton University did a study.

My body fat percentage is still around 30%, but my weight is increasing. This means I've at least stemmed the fat gain. Now I need to focus on fat *loss.*

I did a lot better last night than I thought I would have. Happy Susan B. Anthony Day, even though I missed Valentine's Day.

I should have weighed in on Sunday, but it's better that I don't. We went to a wedding over the weekend, and the next morning, before I could weigh in, we went to breakfast. I know I've been gaining weight, but I don't know whether it's fat, muscle or water. I'll have to check my body fat percentage and water percentage instead.

Today I feel like I'm really getting into the groove of getting healthy. I cheated and peeked at the scale again last night. My weight is coming back down, and my body fat % was around 30%. I don't think I'm retaining nearly as much water now. I guess that's another metric I should be tracking, I don't know. Still having trouble finding raw nuts.
