Gotta remember to write in here, darn it.
I met for just half and hour yesterday with Symphony, so I'm a bit sore today. It's not too bad though.
Went for a 20 min walk during lunch. It's glorious outside!

As I approach my 30th birthday, I realize that I only get one body in this life, and that I'd better take care of it. Now.
I've started seeing a personal trainer at my gym. The goal for this is two fold:
I need help developing a plan to get fit. When I've gone to the gym, I've often picked what to do randomly ('oh hey, there's a treadmill open'). I also get bored easily, so I'd like to have a good list of things I can switch between that work the same muscle groups.
Also, I need her to whip my butt into shape. Seriously. It's hard to get started, not even knowing what to do or how you're body is supposed to feel.
So I saw her for the second time yesterday. At least today I don't hurt the same way I did last week. Walking up and down the stairs for the L was a pain. Literally. Today I'm a bit sore, but it's not unbearable.
But you know what? It's really empowering to know what I *can* do! I didn't think I could keep going in some of the exercises, but I did. I could. Who knew?
on a scale of 1-10, 10 being best, today I feel like a 7!)

Funny enough, I realized when I looked at my credit card bill just how much I've been using the excuse of getting coffee to get the heck out of the office. There's a Starbucks down the street (and I don't even really *like* Starbucks) and my credit card really shows the pattern quite well. I know I need to develop better coping habits that would be better for my wallet and my stomach. I'm trying to take walks around the building instead (outside, while the weather is nice). :)
