Not feeling good, yesterday doctor told me to rest and soft diet until surgery next month. This will be hard to incorporate the soft diet with the WW plan. I'm trying...

Awe.... well I will focus better .... I will not beat myself up, I spent 4 days in the hospital and this week I finally felt better and could eat more. So I knew this would happen and it is not the end of the world. I will focus better.

What a nice lunch. However, I have used ALL the daily points I get. So for a snack to night, I have baby carrots and celery and if I feel like I need it I can steam a cup of cauliflower for -0- points. FILLING FOODS! Steamed seems to be more filling than raw cauliflower.

It's been a hectic day so far. Mom called and thinks she needs to go to the ER (again) but let her use her inhalers first. I showered, made my bed, washed dishes and got myself ready. Fasle alarm. Then she calls later and has made an appt for the pain doctor tomorrow to talk to her about easing off some of the pain meds she is on.
This is my life at the moment and will be for awhile. WW has given something for me to focus on for ME. Plus I want to try and cut out a couple of the medical conditions I have that my mother has triple fold.
Dinner tonight will be tacos. Ground turkey, no seasoning except taco sauce, lettuce, tomato, FF sour cream, avacado and wheat tortillas. One medium size taco is 3 points!

Well, I did buy the eating out companion last meeting but I left it in the compartment in MY car and we used my mothers car, so Marie Calendars was a eat carefully. I only had half of the main dish and skipped as much rice as possible. So I had the other piece of chicken for lunch.
Then for dinner I made the weight watchers chicken pot pie. My daughter and I did not like the seasoning; thyme and paprika. Tasted like dirt...? So next time I make it I will use Mrs. Dash. I did also add asparagus tips and some yellow squash. More filling foods.
So I am feeling better and I have made a mental plan to go riding tuesday. I need to get back in the saddle, this is my excercise. Terri received her Australian saddle. I looked them up online and they look great. Should be fun.
