It is FREEZING in Houston today. Holy cow. I know now why i am a southern girl, i freakin cannot stand the cold!! The wind chill this morning was 10 degrees! I had to walk 3 blocks into work like that!
I know to you notherners this is normal but we just came off of a few days with highs in the 70's, I hate this!!
Anyways, i'm done whining for now.... i guess.
I did lowerbody strength training at the gym lst night, it went pretty well. I spent the whole time dreading going back out in the cold tho, so i'm sure i didnt do as well as i could have. Something is better than nothing tho, i almost didnt even go!
ugh.. i feel another bitch fit coming on, guess i better go get some hot tea to calm myself. :P

I am getting really good at this whole jogging thing. I really love it, its addicting!
I started off on January 3rd doing intervals of jog 2 minutes, walk 4 minutes and last night i successfully completed intervals of jog 5 minutes, walk 2 minutes. That is the most i have ever been able to run in one setting in my entire life. It feels pretty amazing. :)
Tonight is lower body weight training, i hope this 'blizzard' doesnt keep me away from the gym tonight!
My weight is up a pound this week, thank you mother nature...

I ate like a damn cow this weekend. The PMS hormones took over and i chose not to stop myself.
It felt good tho, i wasnt in the mood to spend the weekend convincing myself for hours on end that i didnt need that last cinnamon roll that my son didnt finish, or to spend the evening pretending that there wasnt a slice of chocolate meruenge pie in the fridge.
In all honesty tho,i really didnt eat like a cow, just indulged in a few things that i normally wouldnt, i needed that tho and i feel so refreshed this morning, ready to face my day of healthy eating and kickin ass at the gym.
We leave for hawaii in 227 days and i am 10 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. I can do this!!

Yup, there it is, my all new lowest weight! 136! I havent seen that weight since i was about 3 months pregnant! (i put on weight insanely fast, i started at about 128)
I took my measurements this morning,
waist is 28.5"
hips are 37"
chest is 39"
I dont remember what my last measurements were tho, i'll have to go find them in my journal.
SO i'm feeling pretty awesome today, i even avoided gorging on our office breakfast feast by bringing a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast instead. Tho i did have a glass of lemonade...
So whatever it is that i am suddenly doing right, I definitley need to keep it up. I dont know if its my new meatless diet or that i havent had a drop of alcohol in 3 weeks, but its working! :)
