This day was weird for eating and logging. This evening I had only a tad over 700 calories and less protein than I want daily, so under 'snacks' I entered my late-night fix for that. I wouldn't normally do this but I want to lose weight at a reasonable rate so it is sustainable. Tomorrow I'll adjust what and when I get protein in. Now it says I'm gaining 3.5 pounds a week. Not, not, and not.

Ha-ha; I think this is the second time I've hit exactly my goal limit on calories recently. Over just a few a couple times too but I don't care about it because while I know I might lose faster with a lower limit, I am OK with letting my hide acclimate to less stuffing inside it.
The sourdough starters are each looking more lively daily and I have a test loaf proofing overnight. I would really enjoy a slice of sourdough bread with good butter. Sure wish I could get my paws on some unpasturized cream to make a pound or two again. Have my mother's and grandmothers' wooden paddles. Did have Mom's butter-making wooden bowl too but it 'disappeared' about the time my Grandpa's violin did also. Thankfully I found a good-sized Munising bowl that is the same size.

Busy, disjointed day with multitasking, including spiritual, household, and still working on my sourdough bread project. Starters seem to be coming along and I did attempt a levain that's in the oven with the light for warmth. My kitchen is about 65F.
