Hi there FS friends, hope you all well and losing lots!
Im now fully recovered from the Moonwalk marathon, blister on my foot disappearing fast. Been out for little walk last night(5miles) and heading out tomorrow for 6 miles early in the morning. The team are all quite keen to keep the walking going so i've got no excuses.
Am getting lots of comments recently about my weight loss, possibly as i have bought myself some new clothes and now that summer(?) is here i'm not hiding under jumpers!
I do feel good i have to say. Got a naming ceremony for my nephew in about 1 months time so hoping to lose another 7lbs before then. And of course as part of the 50lb challenge im hoping to lose 30 lbs before our big family holiday in Nov when we go off to see Mickey Mouse and friends.

So have a great weekend everyone and i'll catch up with you all tomorrow.

MOONWALK UPDATE!
First thanks so much for all your good wishes and im pleased to tell you all that i have my medal!
I completed my 26.2 miles in around 7 hours(thats minus the time queing for the toilets- what is it about women!)
I had a fab night, the atmosphere was fantastic, the weather was very pleasant for walking, it never got properly dark the whole night and i just happened to be walking along the seafront as the sun came up, spectacular. Edinburgh is a beautiful city normally but last night some of the buildings were lit up in pink and in the twilight it was just gorgeous!
Now the downsides, it was hard work especially the last 5.2 miles and i do have a blister and my left knee ached like never before but it was so worth it! Together my team of 5 have raised over £2500 which we are very pleased with! Thanks to all those FS friends who sponsored me!

Would i do it again? - you bet i would! It was such a buzz and we are already talking about doing it again next year and trying to beat our times!

We spent Sunday and this morning resting and recuperating at a gorgeous health spa near Peebles. I spent hours in the steam rooms and the jacuzzi/spa bath and as a result today i feel brill, not a twinge! We have also been eating lovely healthy food. (and not to mention the crisps, dip and champagne we had inour room! but after burning up approx 2,600 calories we thought we deserved it).

So ladies if you get the chance then sign up for it. I dont know if they have them stateside but in Uk google walkthewalk.

I havent weighed in yet will do so tomorrow but somehow i dont think there will be a loss, too many extra carbs consumed last week but hey it was all for a good cause!

Im sooooooooooooooo excited and a little bit nervous! 12 hours from now we should be 2 1/2 hours into the MOONWALK and the first 10 miles done! My bag is packed and im ready to go! Got a 2 hour drive to the start point and will leave soon to pick up the rest of the team. Going to stop at my sis-in-law's house to change into our gear(which reminds me thanks for all the lovely comments about my masterpiece of a bra!)
Not thinking about diet diet today more eating healthily and getting lots of carbs in for slow release energy later, So far have had museli, a banana and a cereal bar. Going to have some ham salad sandwiches with houmous for lunch if the butterflies in my tummy let me eat!

Well guys by the time i next sign in all being well i will have completed my own personal marathon!
