I was brave enough and posted my pound up. I have been bouncing around from 140-142 since the holidays. I think it should go down soon. I am training and working out a lot and can definately feel the difference in my muscles and everything slimming back down even though the scale is down 1 lb since my 6 lb holiday gain. We are still eating healthy meals but there have also been too many calorie choices for meals and desserts at friends houses, etc that is probably why it isn't going all the way down.
I am working out hard 4 days a week at least which includes running and biking 3-4 days and swimming one day plus weights or floor training. 100% faithful in weekly workouts for over 2 years now!!

Still working on trying to get the scale to come down. I am back to full training and had 4 good days of working out last week and have already ran, biked and swam this week Sun and Monday. I am feeling my muscles get firmer and the thin feeling come back as I work off my extra 5 lbs from the holiday season.
We have a lot of good healthy foods in the house too so that is going pretty well too. I just need to keep my head in the game while going out to eat or for get togethers, etc! That is really what undoes my progress and gives me gains.

back
! My attitude has adjusted through some great workouts the last 3 days and although the scale is still high, I am feeling it all get toned back in! I have worked out 3 days a in a row now- running, biking, weights and swam about 30 min today which was somewhere b/w 1/2-3/4 mile or around 50 lengths. I will workout on Thursday and again on Saturday. I am ready to send the scale downward now. I have actually been at 142 but couldn't bear to record it. My goal is to be back at 137 by the end of January and 135 by my mini triathlon in Feb. I'm working on speed work for the triathlon to hopefully beat my last year's #'s. This is the mini indoor one where you go as far and as fast as you can in a 10 min swim, 15 bike, 15 min run.
I have the house stocked with healthy meals and made some delicious cream of asparagus soup tonight to accompany grilled chicken and vegetables. It is saute a little butter and minced onion, add flour, add 4 cups chicken broth and 2 cans asparagus (blend asparagus in blender first, cold)- simmer all together about 20 min. Yummy, cheap and easy!
Ready to watch The Biggest Loser now! I will do some leg lifts and sit ups tonight too while it's on.
Set your goals everyone- make them SPECIFIC, attainable, and set a timeline for each one and they will happen!

Happy New Year everyone. Well, I had to post my gain. It may be more than that even. I have been struggling with the holiday pounds and can definately feel and see this 5 lb weight gain. I am resolved to get it off quickly though and this week am going to have a "push week" where I make very conscious decisions to eat healthfully, work out hard, and make some progress downward!
I have started my triathlon training and this week will be in full swing of that again getting on a scheudule swimming, biking and running every week. I did do all three last week. I am ready to feel felt and svelt again. I'm trying to boost up my motivation, but I have to say, it is super motivating when you feel strong and fit. This pudge just doesn't feel good.
I will check in with my buddies this week. Have to go for now. I wish you healthy, happiness, fitness and meeting your goals in this new year!!
