I was talking with my wife, lamenting on how I am struggling to log intake etc, and how good I was at it a couple of years ago. She pointed out some obvious things that I was missing. Over the past 1.5 years I have switched careers to a much "bigger" job in terms of time commitment, responsibility and added stressors. She is right. (Don't get me wrong, this is an AWESOME job!!) We have taken an empty 400 thousand square foot warehouse, filled it with racking, equipment, product and a staff of 40 people in just over one year, and I was and am the manager of the whole start up process. We are shipping well beyond expectation and things are simply, swell! However, I am not allowed the same luxury of time that I have had in other positions.
The point of this post is not to make excuses, but to point out that sometimes we are unnecessarily hard on ourselves for "failing" when we are succeeding in other areas of our lives.
Through it all, I have tried to be conscious of what I am eating, and still fit (albeit slightly less comfortably) in my new clothes. I have gained weight back, but not all of it, and I will continue to seek out solutions to my time problem. That I am taking the time to post in the middle of the day is actually saying something! I have the tools, the buddies and the support. I just have to find the balance in which to utilize them. Thanks all for reading, responding and supporting. You are awesome.

COMMITING TO 1 WEEK OF OLD SCHOOL.
Admittedly hard to do when you have been at it for a while (Just me)
I am entering the third year of using this program.
JOURNAL. TRACK. WATER. EXCERCISE.
Exercise good and steady. Probably
keeping me from going way up and just holding steady.

Yikes.
FACT: I always lose when I log my intake. Always.
I have been on maintenance for about a year. New job, very time consuming and challenging (and freaking awesome!!!) . Tracking gone by the wayside. Calories sneaking in. Did pretty well with no tracking etc. Creeping in the wrong direction now though. Past week in single digit temps and snow and ice have made exercise of choice challenging. (I prefer walking and some running) Gonna mix it up with some weight training. Not ABOUT to let myself get back to 205. No siree bob.
Unofficial goal: actually LOSE weight over Holiday season. a PRE new years goal of at least 5 lbs off.
82 pushups today. Can still hit over 30 in a set which is good for me, and it was surprising as it had been a while. So if you see me posting random pushup numbers, its just me helping me keep track and compete with my self. Thanks Buddies.

commit to track every day. Except weekends. exercise has been good. Have to hit the rack sooner though, not enough sleep and late night snacking.

Uh oh!
Slacking last week. All about excuses, too busy, too tired etc.
Exercise was pretty good, but did not log and did not avoid the drive troughs. Jeans are feeling a little snug today,
Me No Like.
I am NOT buying bigger clothes, so, Time to get crackin.
