I'm 40-something, live in a suburb of Houston, TX, married to a man who loses weight when he gives up ice cream OR beer for a week (GRRR!), and I have a beautiful7 year old daughter. I've been overweight most of my life, certainly since about 5 years old. I heard "You have such a pretty face" many times. I went on Weight Watchers for the first time when I was 14. Off and on WW for YEARS, too many times to count! I then went to South Beach a few times but struggled when adding foods back. I guess there wasn't enough guidance in that process for me. I've never tried Atkins before. I figure it can't hurt, and it just may help! I like the guidelines for adding carbs after induction. AND I do not feel at all deprived!
