Well, here goes!

I'm 47. Canadian, but living in Northern CAL. I have three children...29, 24, and almost 18. And proud to say I have one GORGEOUS grandson too!

Atkins has aways worked in the past for me. But, since my last success with this diet, I have injured my spine and had it fused. Due to the injury, and subsequent lack of beneficial exercise...I have gained 50 pounds, and to top it off, I now have hypothyroid.

So, now that my TSH levels are stable, I need to get the extra weight and strain off my back. I could use all the positive feedback, chats, and pointers from anyone that would like to talk. Looking forward to new friendships and a 'lighter' life...thanks :-)
