62 years old, male, retired. Had physical on Jan 8, weighed in at 255, blood pressure high. Current smoker diagnosed with COPD. What to do? I refused to take the blood pressure medicine, promised I would quit smoking when I was ready. In March I lost my love to cancer. I promised myself that the way to my own contentment and happiness is to focus on myself. Thus I set a goal to get close to high school weight, get blood pressure down to normal levels, exercise and get my energy levels up, and quit smoking. I call it on "Focus on Self" and it my way to get out my of my funk and move to a better place. I expect to have attained these goals by July 4th and then go to maintaining that healthy and content peace of mind.
