Today is Tuesday and on Tuesdays my older son goes to preschool and my younger son says to me (every Tues...this is his routine and special time with Mommy) "I want to go to bagel shop, Mommy". We love Einsteins bagels. Just googled for the nutritional information and, as expected, it isn't great. 360 calories for the bagel. I know it isn't healthy but, I think I will just have it for lunch. It will keep me sane on this diet to not say no to everything (not that I have been doing it enough yet). I don't want to take things away from him just because I shouldn't have them and I know I won't be able to resist. Will just have to work that much harder the rest of the day / week / my life :-)

My all means go and enjoy the time with your son, that is the most important thing in the world. I'm trying to increase my willpower it would be really hard for me also, maybe baby steps. Leave one bite of your bagel...next time maybe 2 bites...enjoy yourself! You've been doing great!
