I am a 40 yo mom of 2 boys (they are almost 4 and 3). I stay at home and work from home part-time during tax season. I feel like I have had a weight problem all my life. Although, when I look back at pictures of me when I was 20 I think I was pretty thin but at the time I felt like I was 15 lbs too heavy...perspective is a funny thing. My parents and siblings all struggle with an extra 50 lbs or more, too. They all have either high blood pressure, diabetes or both. So far my only health problem (other than the weight) is deficient vitamin D levels and I really want to lose the weight to make sure I don't develop more problems but mostly just so I can stand the sight of myself!
