Today is my birthday!... and I'm going out for dinner to a Thai restaurant with my Dad.... trying to think of healthy things I can eat while I'm there, and I googled them to find an online menu.

Looks like I'm going to go for the Fresh (non-fried) vegetable roll minus the egg, Tom Yum soup and a Basil Veggies & Tofu dish with no rice. Can't avoid the fried Tofu in this dish, but I figured, HEY, it's my birthday, and everything else I would order from the menu is sans Oil!

Just to be on the safe side and keep my calories burned > caloried consumed, I did a spinning class during my lunch break, and will goto a half hour Gliding class + 1 hour Yoga class this evening.

Hope my day progresses as planned! *fingers crossed*

Happy Birthday! It is my Birthday too. I love Thai food. If I had any suggestion for you (since I was debating this today as well). Go out and enjoy your dinner, just KNOW what you are eating. Instead of focusing on calorie control for this meal of deserved celebration, focus on getting to enjoy what you are eating, but avoid overeating it. Save some for later, and celebrate your birthday in moderation. At least that is my take on it all... Again, Happy Birthday, hopw you enjoy as much or more as all the birthdays before.
