Had a great day today, food is on track, feeling good, stress is pretty non-existent (today anyway!). Good doc appt yesterday. Stress test next week (Thurs & Fri.) Getting crown on my tooth later this month and not looking forward to that, but have to get it done.

Day two of exercise at doc's insistence - CHECK!
Walked at lunch at a pretty good clip for 1/2 hour (that met her requirement of 1/2 an hour of SOMETHING 6 days/wk.)
Didn't stop there, DH was mowing the lawn when I got home so I got things ready for supper and then hit the treadmill.
Clipped off 1.5 miles in 30 min at an incline of 8.
I hit a personal best yesterday of 8078 steps. I have already bypassed that today as I am up to 8598 right now, will most likely pass 9000 steps today. Yippee!

Screw my scale! I think it might be busted as the readout looks like the colors of a kalaidescope, doesn't look good and it is only about 8 months old! The other indication is that I weighed 4 lbs less at my doc yesterday than I weigh on my scale and we are never that far off of each other. Hummmmm, that may be good news! Don't really want to run out and get another scale. Think I will wait until my appt next week and see where I land, then may need to head to Target for a new one.

Gotta go start the grill and get the swordfish on. Yummy marinade of keylime juice, EVOO, fresh grated garlic, fresh grated ginger and a dash of Ponzu. Add a hunk of grilled olive garlic ciabatta bread and a ton of broccoli. Maybe a skinny cow tonight if I feel like it which I have already planned for but may not eat.

Ponzu is similar to soy sauce however it has a citrus flavor to it. Not as salty as soy sauce. You can find it on the Asian aisle of your local megamart.

Your doctor should be well pleased that not only have you taken her exercise "suggestions" to heart, you are performing at an excellent level! Go, Babs, go!

Screw the scale indeed! Glad you had a great day full of healthy activity & hope your swordfish was as delish as it sounds. Thanks for reminding me I need to schedule my annual physical for this month! ;)

My scale suddenly went to kg and I have no clue how to adjust it, there's no button on it or anything, so I go to an on-line conversion table that does it for me. 100 kg is almost exactly 220 lbs by the way. It sure is humid as the tropics today here in southern New England isn't it?
