So after my weight dropped to 134.2, I went back up to 135 and have been stuck there for 10 days now! At first i thought it was just my period weight, but no, its still there.

I've been eating really great and avoiding sugar and 'white' carbs as much as possible, i've only caved a few times and they were special occasions, and i didnt gorge.
I havent been working out as much as i should, but i figured i'd at least drop a pound... And to make matters worse, hubbs lost 18 pounds in his first week!!!!! And another 3 pounds the second week. Thats more weight than i've lost in 2 freaking years! aarrrgh!!!

But in the end I'm not too worried about it. I'm actually pretty damn content with my body. My goal is still to keep up with weight training and eating healthy and i guess just see where it takes me. As long as i can find a cute tankini to cover my belly flab in Hawaii, i'll be perfectly happy :0)

Don't feel bad about your husband losing lbs faster. I have never seen him, but I am willing to bet he is bigger than you. He has more to lose than you do I am also guessing. My wife felt the same frustration. Don't worry, he will slow down...trust me. The first 25 lbs for me came off easy, the last 20 have been much harder to lose. I hate plateaus more than anything. I was stuck between 203lbs and 205lbs for like 2 weeks. As crazy as it sounds, I found out I wasn't eating enough calories. I was shooting for 1800 a day, but a lot of the time I would only end up eating about 1200-1500 when all was said and done. The plateau broke for me when I splurged one night at the Italian restaurant and had everything I wanted (bread, pasta, stuffed mushrooms, salad with regular ranch). I felt guilty that night, but then the next day I got back on the diet and the lbs started coming off again. Point is that I think you may just need a shock to your system. Not saying to go splurge on Italian, but do something to give your body/metabolism a wake up call.

It can be quite frusturating when your body like a weight that you don't like! ;) At least it isn't going up and you're maintaining a steady weight. Maybe changing up your workouts or your calories might help ya break that plateau? Great job so far and best of luck!

Jason is on to something...take a look at your diet calendar to see if you've kind of been doing the same thing for a while. If your intake & activity level has been pretty consistent, one day with a calorie surplus vs. a deficit could be just what you need. Your weight will be up for a few days post, but it'll kick the losses off again. It's the theory behind the Spike Diet & I have been successful with it several times. You've got nothing to lose (but weight!)

Well i started Southbeach again 3 weeks ago. After i lost NOTHING in the first 2 weeks (induction/detox phase) i decided to stick to it for another week, and still nothing. I'm thinking i need a work out wake up call! I started back into weight training this week, but so far have only made it to the gym twice this week... life keeps getting in the way! :P

And yes, hubbs is WAY bigger than me, I'm 5'2, he's 6'3. And he still has another 30 lbs to go, so i'm still way closer to my goal than he is!

You'll get there girl :) Keep trying and I doubt you need a tankini to cover flab, 135 is not a bad weight to be at!!! Show it off

You're doing great. The closer you get to your goal, the harder it seems to lose each pound. I'm dealing with that myself now, it sucks... And yeah, men always seem to be able to lose much faster - at least in the beginning. It's so unfair. Pisses me off! LOL But you'll get there; just keep doing what you're doing!
