I can't stop the binges on the weekend! What is wrong with me!?!? Ahh I am getting so frustrated because I'm so good during the week and then I completely fall apart on the weekends when I have no structure. I'm so utterly dissapointed in myself and I say it every week how I just need to harness down on the weekends and then I'm sitting around bored watching lifetime television and just keep eatting what's in the closet. The thing is too it's not even like I'm enjoying it. Boo I feel like such a failure!!

And 8:30 and I'm going out in a little bit where I know I'll be drinking and I've already doubled the points for the day with my food choices! Ahhhhh

LOL on the lifetime--me too! I know what you're going through, happens to me all the time. I can't tell you how to overcome it, just to keep a glass of water with you at all times, that's what's helped me so far, today anyway! snacking is a beast! for tonight, the only thing i would say is stay away from beer. it's 2 points a beer(coors light, anyway) and all the bloat sucks. wine is also 1-2 points a glass but has at least some nutritional value, you drink less, and dont feel like you're going to be the michelin man after "just a couple more". Just suggestions, or if you get mixed drinks get with diet for the mixer. Good luck, and let me know how it works out! Enjoy yourself!

Oh, and you're not a failure! You can do this! It's learning about how to overcome the obstacles, and it isn't easy. It's a long process, but hopefully one that sticks with us, since we are in it for the long haul, hopefully. It's life, and we need to learn how to cherish it, and take the bull by the horns, and realize our worth! We ARE worth being happy and not sweating the small stuff, so lets do this! Now go get drunk and get happy!! and start off tomorrow with a better sense of doing right by yourself, it will get easier, and we'll get smarter as we go along...Have a good night!

It's a behavior that you are accustomed to on the weekends. You need to change that behavior to a certain extent and you can, but it takes work. Make a plan. Eat your daily points Monday through Friday and save your flex for the weekend. Figure out when you spend the most points on the weekend. If it's going out to dinner, then eat a smaller breakfast and lunch, and have a piece of fruit before you go out. If you like cocktails, you have to figure out how many you will have. It can takes weeks to start to change a behavior, but once you do it for a weekend, it will make you feel so good. It might give you the motivation to keep on doing it.

thanks guys for the motivation and suggestions...you're absolutely right! I need to make a plan and work it. I'm not going to lose this weight by chance, I really have to make conscious decisions and change my behaviors. I think I also need to stop being so hard on myself. I am in it for the long haul and I need to be happy you're so right navychick!
