I love the before and after pics and how you got the same pose in! You've really transformed yourself. Beautiful job on your visual board, too.

Thanks guys! I particularly wanted to recreate that "before" shot, because I was so shocked at the time at how dreadful I looked. I was already a month and 8lbs into my weight loss journey at that stage, and had felt pretty good that day - it was only when we got home and downloaded the photos it really hit me how fat I'd let myself get. I'm NEVER going back there again!!

What an inspiring and motivational piece of work.. I hope you have this posted so you can see it every day... You look great. I hate having pictures taken of me because I always feel I look fat (and I do) I have a picture of myself on the fridge of when I was at a good weight and it helps to keep me out of the fridge when I am hungry....YOOOOUUUUUU LOOOOOOOKKKKK FAAAAAAAABULLLOOOUUSSS (with an accent);-)

Thanks Bully!! I basically just followed MoonLite's advice from the forum post, which I'll paste here... I made my board with PowerPoint, then afterwards saved it in JPEG format, by changing the file format in the drop down menu when the SAVE AS box came up. I put all the files I wanted to use in one folder after googling images around the web. If you have PowerPoint, you can then open a PowerPoint presentation and from the top left hand toolbar select things like INSERT > FROM FILE, navigate to the FOLDER where the picture is saved, click on it and select INSERT. You can then drag the corners of pictures to resize them or move the pictures around the page. You can also insert text boxes from the INSERT menu, or alternatively things like Auto-Shape by selecting INSERT > PICTURE > AUTO SHAPES, then drag out your shape to the size you want it. You can add colours to these boxes by RIGHT-Clicking on the text box or auto-shape, then selecting FORMAT AUTO-SHAPE or FORMAT TEXT BOX depending on the one you want to style. This opens a little box with tabs along the top - COLORS & LINES is the one used to style the boxes. FILL Color - you can choose the colour you want the background of the box. LINE Color - you can use to add borders to the boxes and also select the thickness of the border line. If you haven't got MicroSoft PowerPoint, there is a free program called Open Office that you can download which contains similar programs contained in the Microsoft Office Suite - including "Presentations"... a take off of Powerpoint. So this might be useful for anyone that wants to have a play around. Good luck!

I love your board--especially the before-after pics!!! What a difference! Not only are you skinnier, but you can also tell the difference in energy and strength--look at your SWIIIIING your little one in the "after" picture! You've arrived, missy!! Wheee...!:)

Awesome!! I love what you did with the motivational board and you look so wonderful! It really is a great transformation. You are fit and healthy...doing it for all the right reasons! I'm so proud of you.

Thank you for your lovely comments! Amy - I certainly do have tons more energy! I hardly recognise myself these days - I'm far more alert and hardly ever tired, and I seem to feel the need to run around the house to complete tasks rather than just walk! :)
