So... its kinda a long story but i had this dog dropped in my lap that kinda needed a home. At first i was going to foster her and then find her a new home..... until i fell in love with her. Well, my husband didnt want me to have ANOTHER dog ( we already have two dogs and two cats)and i begged him. In the heat of it all i said that ( yes this was MY idea) i would get down to 150 if he let me keep her!! I dont know why i just blurted it out! Its kinda a bet i guess. If i can stay on South beach till im at 150 i can keep her. No CHEATING. The only exception is that i HAVE to have full sugar creamer in my coffee and i want to cheat on the 4th of July. I cant believe that i said it. So its time to "woman up" and do this. Im still going to only weight myself every week on monday.
Any support and great recipes will be a LIFE SAVER!! REALLY!
Im gathering that its going to take me till August for me to get down to 150 from 200. What do you think?

19 lbs in 2.5 weeks? Hmm.. I would say that is not a realistic goal for May. If you started phase one today/tomorrow, you can lose quite a bit, but not sure it's safe to say nearly 20 lbs. 50 lbs in 6 months would be a great ordeal to over come. Maybe you explain a bit more time may be needed? He wouldn't really make you give up a dog after having it for over 3 months, now... would he?? :) Good luck and if you really want it... you can HAVE IT!

I agree. Not to burst your bubble, but 19 lbs in 2.5 weeks seems a bit much. I would shoot for around 8 lbs a month. that would be the healthiest rate of weight loss. I too have a goal for August. My husbands 10 year reunion! UGH!!! I want to lose 30 lbs by then and that may be pushing it too. Let's go girl!!

About the creamer...I stopped using creamer when I started SBD and started using skim milk. This was the ONLY way I could do it. Cold turkey, lol! I have seen other SB Dieters using nonfat evaporated milk and it tends to be creamier than milk. I also use sugar free flavored syrups or flavored coffees to taste like my creamer that I loved. And I too had scheduled *cheat days* to only get there and stay right on track! I'm sure you will do the same. Sometimes one day isn't worth all the sacrificing to get to that day! Good luck - you can do it!!

Thank you all for your support!! Alot of the weight is water weight from cheating the past two weeks. I usually loose about 1 lbs to 2 lbs a day for the first two weeks and thats not because im starving myself or anything. I dont really care how long it takes as long as its GONE! I dont think my hubby would make me give her up ( and i wouldnt either) but its kinda like " ill let you keep her as a reward for.." kinda thing. Im one stubburn girl and i usually get my way when it comes to animals. Im DYING to know how much i will weight on Monday since i havent weighed my self since last mon. I hope it says 30 lbs!! (just kidding)That has been a big struggle for me too, as much as not eating crap. Its like when i wake up i think " ugh i dont want to get up... oh wait..... i wonder how much i weigh??" Silly huh?

lol I can totally relate! Glad to hear all is okay on the forecast front and you'll just kick it up until you get there! Go GET 'em girly!
