A Short Walk in My Shoes...

So I ran today with my dog! It is finally nice out here after an EXTREMELY long winter! My dog and I both needed the sun! I think that she was starting to become depressed too! This will be my first summer in Milwaukee and I found a park close to where I live! It's only about a mile away so I'll have to bring my frisbee for Jersey to play with! I feel more energized than I have in a long time! I really want to be able to do a 5k or 10k by September so I'm gunning for that! Thanks to everyone who supported me when I was having that blah week! I appreciate it! Well time to go get ready for work! Peace out!

Getting outside in the sunshine without multiple layers of clothing is a invigorating for both body and spirit! And I'm sure your dog appreciates it, too! I know my dog loves to lay out on the deck in the sun. I think it feels good on her old bones, poor thing. Good luck with your training for September. You've got lots of time to build up your strength and endurance.
