Well, starting again AGAIN. lol! In 2016 I had our 3rd daughter at 41 yrs old. She has been a total joy and completion to our family we did even know we needed! But trying to get on track at this age on SO LITTLE SLEEP has been an undertaking with set backs, but mostly just a lack of interest. I have been blessed with an ability to function fairly energetically on no more that about 5 or 6 hours of sleep (with no more that 3 at a time) for over a year and a half. I do know that can't go on forever. I want to give my you fest child the kind of active mama experience I was able to offer my 17 year old! Lol! So that means getting in shape. I have been trying to decide on the diet route to take for about 6 months. But with friends doing everything from Vegan to Keto to the potato diet I was having a hard time not being thuroughly overwhelmed with options. (that whole no sleep thing really messes with focus) So...when a friend posted a 14 day boiled egg diet I set a date and went for it. It was the perfect catalyst for jump starting my efforts. Now I'm focusing on low carb and processed sugar elimination. My joints have been SO much kinder! I've lost 14lbs since February. Still a long way to go, but feeling very motivated and seeing progress!
