Well, it's been a crazy busy week and I've lost some more weight. I think its due to stress. A friend (I've known since grade school) lost her husband. He was a good man. They were making plans for retirement, now he's gone. So sad. I find I used to stress eat now I can't. It makes me more stressful thinking that I could sabotage the good work I'm doing or raise my sugars and need to go back on diabetic medicines. My supportive guy came with me and kept telling me how he "never tried Carvel ice cream" they don't have many in VA. So we did split a small Carvel ice cream cone. Since he did all the driving and didn't really know anyone so was very uncomfortable, I think he deserved it. The doctor told him that his sugars were a bit high, which scared him and he's doing Keto with me now (well a modified version - he has to have an occasional beer). He's already lost about 18 lbs. He goes back next week and we'll see where his numbers are at. Then we'll see if I have to be more strict with him. :-)
