Great loss Pops, a small triumph on a bad date. I managed to get out for a small walk with the pooch but the heavens opened and we both dragged our soggy carcasses back to the office most put out. I found a ball though and Rubes threw it for me so I got my sense of humour back . . . :D

I hate what 9/11 has come to mean in all of our memories.🙇🏻♀️I spent weeks afterwards reading the obituaries of the people who had died, just because I didn't want to glorify the terrorists in any way in my mind. @ Doobrie I feel for your granddaughter, hopefully the day will draw less grief from people as she gets older. It's no fun to have your special day be on a day that bad/depressing things happened. I bet all the kids born on the anniversary of the day Hitler invaded or Britain was bombed after WWII had some of the same feelings for a while.🤷🏻♀️
