I am stuck at 146lbs. Too much good living. Maybe if I skip lunch - who needs lunch anyway - I will lose a few pounds or maybe at my age it is not possible to lose weight. Discouraging!

You look great in your picture and as active as you are you don't need to skip meals. Cutting portions may be all you need to do, if you have a food scale weigh your portions it really helps me.

Yes, I agree, you look great and you have a very handsome gentleman friend. However if you would like to lose some weight that's up to you. You know how you feel best. We can lose weight at any age. This may be unconventional advice but if you are in good Heath and have no blood pressure or other chronic health conditions you could try extended intermittent fasting fasting every other day, just have some tea and water throughout the day and go out in the evening for dinner with your handsome friend and enjoy yourself. You could probably lose those few pounds in a couple of weeks.. when you get to goal, maybe 16/8 intermittent fasting may help you in maintaining along with your tennis. That way you can still enjoy your evenings out.
