Thank you! I am still figuring this site out....but, oh so much information! I need to lose around 85 lbs.....in 5 weeks....I can do it...just need to remove the lower half of my body...:)

LOL! You have the right sense of humor! Let's see, that would be about 17 pounds a week...hummmm, you are right, left leg in week one, right leg in week 2....Do ya think we can try extending our time frame a bit...it's going to make you look funny if we try it your way :)

Since the problem is often that we are not too heavy, just too short, maybe we could try some serious stretching? Since I think we all agree that removing the lower half of your body is not reasonable. Of course, the rack is no longer readily available, so that's probably not a good option either!! LOL As Debra says, we need to extend the time frame a bit! But know that you can make some serious progress and we are here to support you!

LOl Pandasmom, actually I think that's what's wrong with me....I'm too short for my weight, I always wanted to be taller, gonna check ebay for one of those rack thingys

Hey Debra, while you're checking on ebay for the rack thingy, would ya mind checking and seeing how much the those gizmo's that remove all the excess skin in 3 easy steps are running these days for me? i'd sure appreciate it, my arms are flapping in the wind!!!

LOLOL you and me both GG!! Even though mine seem to be tightening up a bit, of course it may just be my wishful thinking, but they are getting better definition with the dumbbell workouts, meanwhile I just pray we don't get a hurricane and I won't have to battle taking off like a kite in the wind!!!

Okay..no rack...will try to do this the right way. So much understanding going 0 cinto trying to figure fat/protein/carbs. I was losing every day for a week & now stalled. Are you drinking any diet soda...with either aspartame or citric acid? (diet soda) or any unsweetened jello? Want to know if this put me in a stall. I did lose 11 lbs the first week.

Oh, you ladies are too funny! It sounds like the weekend can't get here soon enough... Welcome Brenda! I'm not exactly what your question is about the soda/jello. Loosing a higher amount of weight the first week or so is normal... so is slowing down soon afterword. Not a stall, just a catching up and equalizing. I'm not really a purist but I think the soda of any kind and any of the artificial sweeteners just make things more difficult both on your mind and body. If your even suspicious, perhaps you should switch to just water... and find out for sure :) Congrats on the 11 pounds off...you will have lots of support here, just stay with it :)

welcome, brenda! bummer about the rack, that sounded like a perfect solution. guess i'll just have to keep on keeping on with what i'm doing. what becca said, your initial weight loss is mostly water, then the loss will slow down and even bounce around a bit. just keep to your plan and you should see overall progress. i'm not a believer in "fake sugar" so i vote for staying off anything containing it, including the diet sodas. those artifical sweeteners just mess with your body and make you crave more sweets. lots of support here, so hope to see you around!!

Thanks for the comments. Okay...no diet soda or artificial sugar. Guess I will start looking for really good entrees so I'm not hungry.

I'm liking a product line called True Citrus, it's made from dehydrated citrus; real fruit. It comes unsweetened or sweetened with stevia - both nice water enhancements. Amazon or local supermarket. Welcome Brenda!

Brenda, if you don't mind me asking, what plan are you following? It's easier to offer tips if we have an idea of how you are planning to accomplish your goals. There are folks on here who have lots of experience in the different protocols out there.

Sorry. Don't remember how to make comments! Still learning site. I'm supposed to be following a ketosis diet. After being in ketosis for 5 days and dealing w/the "flu"...I have managed to get myself out by adding artificial sweeteners. Here I go again! Thank you for the info on True Citrus. My craving for sweets in the bane of my existence! Thanks for support!
