I'm really enjoying the addition of cocoa to my morning oats and even better it's only 8 calories :)

Yay. I have started adding 25gr raisins/seeds to my fruit breakfast, maked a nice change.

It definitely does - I don't like too a strong a flavour in the mornings, but the cocoa I am enjoying. Good idea with the raisins and seeds - I have half oats and half flaxseed to up my fibre. Have you tried psyllium husks?

No but my mum has, I have almonds, cranberries, goji berries, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and Brazil nuts, I have 3 fruit for brekki everyday it's a banana, then 2 others like apple, grapes, strawberries, melon, physalis. Don't know if you have an Aldi near you, they have a good range of nuts and seeds, I have seen linseed and flax to which say you add to porridge x

I seriously miss you mum! That sounds yummy - we have a Lidl which have a good nut and seed range too. I make half a portion of oats with water and then when it is cooked, I throw in 20g of milled flaxseed - they don't really taste of much I will be honest.

I put cinnamon on my breakfast, seems to give it a little sweetness, but no calories as far as I know.

Yes, it's nice to change things around a bit. Watch out though, I went to the spice cupboard one morning, half asleep, and got out the chilli by mistake. Didn't notice till after I'd sprinkled it on, but luckily spotted the different colour before I ate it!
