Well I gained 6 pounds in 6 days. I figured it would happen, but I thought just 5 lbs. In the last week, I had a birthday, my wife did as well, and an anniversary. So I told myself I would skip watching what I eat and enjoy myself. My daughter took us out to a nice restaurant & I ate mainly grilled seafood, but hushpuppies also. After the meal, the waitress brought my wife & I a nice piece of cake each with whipped cream & chocolate syrup. I ate it. Then a few days later we had a cookout for our anniversary. Ribs, coleslaw, baked beans, more cake. I don't feel too bad about it. Every year I let myself do this & gain about 5 lbs. Of course it takes a couple weeks to lose it. But I'm back on course & had a good time with family & friends.
