Took the last 3 days off. No logging food, no working out and just let it ride. I had some Easter candy and thoroughly enjoyed it, baked a cherry rhubarb pie that was PHENOMENAL! and went to a cajun place and had shrimp and grits...OMG! I want to know WHAT is in that gravy!!!! All this and I gained 1 pound and am OK, because this week puts me past the midway point of this challenge and I decided to put more effort into the challenge. These 3 days "off" were a good thing. Hubby and I have so much on our plates and it was nice to focus on US and have a little food and fun. His mom is 93 and lives with us and caring for her is not difficult, SHE, makes it difficult. Luckily she is in good health, but constantly bemoans how she is ill...that's her style...Did i mention the negativity? anyway, we live very positively and it can be a struggle. But there is so much good in my life that I am thankful for. great husband of 37 years, three grown children and three grand kids who are a total joy! We have a 4+ acre property and love the outdoors. Gardening season is almost here! So I just wanted to talk...everybody have a great day!
