Spike Diet final thoughts: I have given it plenty of time to prove itself and my final verdict is.... spectacular.

I am still losing weight at a rate of 1.5 lbs a weeks... I didn't think that was possible at my current weight.. However, I do want to quit losing weight and bulking up so I will be really pushing up my calories for the remainder of my time here on fatsecret. As my new profile picture shows.... the spike diet packs on lean muscle and sheds fat fast when done correctly.. Hell, I didn't even do it by the books.. I cheated a lil, lol... anyways.. Spike Diet is great, and for me it has now became a spike lifestyle.

Did you go by the low carb early in the day rule? I had considered it but that would be the toughest thing for me. Congrats on your success! It's always great to find an approach that works!

Yeah, I kept my net carbs at 40 or lower before 5pm pretty consistently. Cottage cheese w/tuna mixed in was my saving grace.

I love it. I am going to implement another half spike day next week. So.. Friday night until sunday evening will be spikes :D

I have to wonder if the new book is much different from the original. I seem to be fine using the formulas in the old book. You look phenominal! Care to show us a before picture?

Haha, not big on taking pictures. The only before picture would be the one I previously used as my profile pic (which was pretty much just my shoulders and face) I see the biggest change in my stomach & shoulders.

Ya think? Your arms are huge! Nice work! You also have the other before picture on your profile page which is just waist up. Do you have to shave your head to do spike? :) I'm going to get the book for my husband. He needs something to get him excited about fitness again. And, he's already bald.... lol
